Our Vision

God is worshiped when believers are maturing in their faith, in an environment that encourages fellowship, as believers live as Jesus did and as they go into their world to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Excerpts from Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship’s Constitution
FORWARD
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Let all things be done decently and in order.”
1 Corinthians 14:33, 40
PREAMBLE
Inasmuch as we are born again, Bible-believing people who are saints by calling, and that alone by reason of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and in as much as we are guided, as we believe by God, the Holy Spirit, we desire to align ourselves to the pattern of a New Testament local church of which the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is Head. To the end that He alone might have “the pre-eminence in all things”, we do hereby establish the following STATEMENT OF FAITH AND PRINCIPLES to which, under God, we do voluntarily submit ourselves.
In accordance with the two main objectives of the Church of Jesus Christ, that of preaching the Gospel to all men, (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15), and that of edifying all believers, (Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:11-13), the purpose of this Church shall be:
To glorify God in the salvation of souls through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
To edify believers through the regular teaching of the Word of God, that “they might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding”.

More About Our Pastor

At the age of seven, while sitting in my father’s office, after he had explained my need of a Saviour because of sin, I bowed my head, acknowledged my sin, believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood, was buried and rose again from the grave for me and I called upon Jesus Christ to save me. Two years after graduating from High School, God called me to go to New Brunswick Bible Institute where, upon graduating, I went back home to pastor in my home church. It was during my three years of Bible School that I met my wife Jennifer and, a year after graduation, we were married. We have since had two wonderful children; Caleb and Elaina.
In 2003, we began to feel that the Lord might be calling us elsewhere and, about October, we received a call from Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship in Sussex, NB, to consider being their Pastor. I talked it over with my wife and we prayed about it and then accepted an invitation to come and candidate.
When we got back home we were not positive where the Lord was leading but we were positive that the Lord was leading us out of New Glasgow. However, over the next 3 weeks, the Lord made it very clear – our house sold and we received a unanimous call from the church here in Sussex.
God has been very gracious and good to us. Although the way has never been too easy, God has never failed to be God and we praise Him that He never changes.
If you do not know this God I speak of, I encourage you, nay I beseech you, to pick up a copy of the Bible and taste and see that the Lord is good. If we can be of any help, please let us know. We want to meet your needs through grace and truth.
